モンテッソーリ：プレゼンの後

プレゼンの後は、大人がやり方をただしたり、邪魔をしたりすることなく、コドモが一人でアクティビティを繰り返しできるよう見守ろう。狙いは、コドモ自身が学ぶことの楽しみや報酬（意義）を感じてもらうため。

確かに、私自身がコドモのときも、また甥っ子や姪っ子を見ていてもそう思う。何でも自分でやってみたい、やりたい年頃になると、やろうとしている最中に大人に邪魔されるとすごく機嫌が悪くなる。「一人でやる楽しみ」「やれた快感」を味わうことで自信をもてたりするところ、「できないのに」とか「ややこしい」という理由で大人の手が出されるとイライラしてしまうのだろうね。


After the presentation, the teacher allows the child to repeat the activity independently, without correction, intervention or interruption. The goal is to allow the child to experience the joys and rewards of learning.

Yuko: looking back the day I was a child and also looking at my nephew and niece’s behavior, when children grow up enough to do on their own and get intterupted by adults during their working on any activities, they tend to get irritated. They feel their joy and sense of achievement after completing being destroyed.
